Learning Opportunities

Communities Connected for Kids is proud to offer learning opportunities for students of social work. We are affiliated with Barry University, Florida Atlantic University and Indian River State College and offer students the opportunity to gain real experience working with clients in the field. For more information, please contact our Director of Organization Development and Learning Nicola Smith, at Nicky.Smith@cckids.net.

Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Like most non-profits, Communities Connected for Kids relies heavily on volunteers to assist with a variety of projects. Volunteer opportunities include administrative duties, such as filing and data entry, helping to maintain donations, serving on various boards and committees and event assistance. Opportunities vary throughout the year, but we are always in need of volunteer groups who can coordinate community drives for things like toiletries, overnight bags, new socks and underwear and school supplies. We also work with volunteer fundraisers interested in pulling together benefits on behalf of our children and families.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with Communities Connected for Kids, please download a volunteer application from this page. Once you’ve completed the application, scan and return it to Christina.Kaiser@cckids.net. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you to arrange an interview, either by phone or over a nice cup of coffee.
