Caregiver Support Program
Our Caregiver Support Program helps ensure the success of all caregivers who are caring for children involved with the dependency system. Our team can help caregivers identify resources in the community, access services within the system of care, help caregivers troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
The Caregiver Support Program works in conjunction with the assigned case management staff, as well as other internal programs and community resources, to ensure caregivers are empowered with the tools they need to provide excellent parenting for the children placed in their care. Caregivers also have access to a foster-parent mentor. The mentor is an experienced, local foster and adoptive parent who serves as a medium between the caregiver community and CCKids staff and who is available help new and existing caregivers navigate the system of care and to identify and access resources.
